Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City

This year we drove to Salt Lake City (Ogden actually), rented an Airbnb, and spent Thanksgiving with Caleb and Mikaela. They were able to show us favorite hiking trails, consignment shops, and their charming apartment in South Salt Lake. Caleb also invited his friend Sam to spend Thanksgiving with us since he wasn't able to travel to family for the holiday.

We actually did play lots of games; we weren't just on our phones...

This dog loves Caleb so much.  She hardly left his side the entire weekend.

Nicolas worked Thanksgiving so he spent the holiday with my parents and extended family in the area. Anna went to Dayton Oaks camp and spent Thanksgiving with Russ' family.

Seth and Lydia had their fall concert right before Thanksgiving. This is their first time participating in a string orchestra concert. They both enjoyed the experience and are happy to work toward their next concert in March!

And here at the end just a few pictures of beautiful fall sunsets and the last rose of summer. Early November was the first time we had a hard freeze, so we enjoyed our roses an extra month or so.
