A few pictures of Lydia's Jr/Sr Prom.
Lydia's viola recital was the Saturday morning of the state track meet. Being first on the program allowed her to play her solo and skedaddle to Middleton to make it just in time for the parade of athletes and to warm up for the 4 x 200 relay.
After having new neighbors for the last two years, we have finally been able to get to know them a little bit. They emigrated from Iraq thirteen years ago and are now U.S. citizens. They have shared several authentic Iraqi foods with us which we have enjoyed thoroughly. The two-year-old grandson loves our cat Iverson, so they are often in our front yard trying to catch the cat!
