Today we left Banff/Canada and headed back to the States and Glacier National Park. Our first destination was Many Glacier Lake, as we had a boat tour scheduled at 3:00. Nicolas and Josie needed to have Josie's car brakes replaced, so we told them to meet us in Babb (just outside of the Many Glacier entrance), hopefully, by 2:00. Anna's boyfriend, Joshua, also drove up from Boise to meet us in Babb and to spend the next three days exploring Glacier with us. We all made it to our meeting spot in time and piled in one car as we only had one pass for the Many Glacier Lake road. The boat ride took us across Swiftcurrent Lake, then we went ashore for a short hike to Josephine Lake to board another boat to take us across Josephine Lake. After we got off the boat we attempted to hike to Grinnell Glacier but realized it would take us too long, so we came back and made the hike to Grinnell Lake instead. Nicolas, Josie, and I rode the boat back across both lakes while everyone else hiked the two miles back to Many Glacier Lodge. We didn't stick around too long as we were pretty hungry and we still needed to drive an hour to Cut Bank and check into our Airbnb.
