Seth's Graduation

 A few weeks after Anna graduated from Dordt, Seth graduated from Cole Valley Christian High School. Caleb surprised Seth and flew out for the crazy weekend, including the state track meet. We certainly missed Nicolas, Josie, and Mikaela this weekend!

Anna's Graduation

I flew to Iowa again a few weeks after Anna's recital for her graduation from Dordt University. She graduated with an Accounting major and an Organ Performance minor. Seth and Russ did not join me this time as Seth had the district track meet (the only qualifying track meet for the State meet). The girls flew back with me as someone from the church had a trailer and graciously hauled their stuff back to Idaho. 

Other than moving out and cleaning the girls' apartment/dorm this was a pretty relaxed trip. We had time to visit Brad's Breads and Bakery in Orange City, Wells Ice Cream Parlor in LeMars, and Casey's Bakery in Sioux Center!

Prom

We hosted Seth's friends and dates for pre-prom dinner again. Since this was our last hurrah we went all out and served honey-glazed salmon and tri-tip with green salad, asparagus, wild rice, fresh fruit, and just out-of-the-oven sourdough bread. This was a decided improvement over pasta and stir-fry.

The girls had made their own beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres.
