We thoroughly enjoyed our Iowa trip; it always goes so fast. Although we assisted with the roofing and attic projects and helped Lynn and Cory move, we still had time for games, Blue Bunny ice cream (thanks, Dad!), scavenger hunts, lots of great food, and wonderful family fellowship! Here are a few pictures of some cousin fun:

On the way home we stopped at Russ' parents for one night. The kids were thrilled that Grandpa and Grandma H. had three baby kittens. Not sure how many hands of Rook and Oh Shucks were played... We also stopped at Renee and Andy's for two nights. We took the kids swimming on one of the hot afternoons, and Philip and family came down from Arlington Heights one evening. As we were getting ready to leave Dekalb we realized that baby Piper was in a hospital right on our way home, so we were able to see Hannah and her little peanut.
