This summer Caleb spent two months in Guatemala working in a small missionary hospital. He went down with the same organization he has traveled to Guatemala with in the past. He decided to pursue this internship to assist him in both his medical interests and also his Spanish. Caleb spent six days a week shadowing the doctors and nurses in the hospital, and by the time he left, was able to suture, give injections, and perform various other medically related tasks. His Spanish competency also greatly increased during his time there. The internship was a success, and he says that this experience confirmed a calling into a future in medical missions. He can't wait to go back!
Here is a link to the blog he kept during his time there: calebinguate.blogspot.com
