Fresh Produce


A dear friend from BSF "borrowed" my three oldest to help with yard work last week Friday morning and brought them back home bearing a bagful of wonderful garden produce (tomatoes are ours!). 

So we had stuffed peppers and...



creamed cucumbers for supper that night,



eggplant sticks with our lunch the next day, 

Dipped in a beaten egg, rolled in a mixture of dry Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, and panko bread crumbs, and broiled until crisp.

and the best zucchini bars for a treat at the youth group outing.



Now to cook up the squash...
