The last week in May, Russ flew to Chicago to visit his sister who was struggling with severe headaches and light sensitivity following her first vaccine dose. We are so thankful to hear that she is currently doing much better with a new medication. While Russ was gone and before the temps got too hot we decided to try a hike in Garden Valley that someone recommended to us. It was a bit of a challenge since the trail began with a two-mile climb. The wildflowers were in full bloom
so we stopped often to pictures. Most of the photo credits go to my kids.
And one picture with the dog. |
A few weeks later we took a day trip to Stanley to hike under the Sawtooths and just enjoy the beauty of the area. It was pretty neat to see how the earthquake last spring had changed the area around Stanley Lake.
Last weekend Seth, Lydia, and I joined friends from church at a condo in Park City for a couple nights. We enjoyed the pool, playing games, the outlet mall, In-N-Out Burger, and even looked at an apartment in Salt Lake City for Caleb and Mikaela. We had wanted to do some hiking, but Lydia had badly sprained her ankle earlier that week. What better excuse to relax and take it easy?
After going gaga over all the Teslas in Park City, Seth was thrilled to have one park near us in the parking ramp. |
